Description	:	The 1875 Atlas of Cayuga County says there were burials on the grounds of the original Dutch Reformed Church at Owasco Lake, during the period of 1796-1815. Unfortunately, there are no known records of these burials. The church was a log meeting house near Burtis Point overlooking Dutch Hollow Brook and Owasco Lake, previously owned by the Brinkerhoff family, and known as Brinkerhoff Point.
