Description	:	The Episcopal Mission of Saint Mary the Virgin in Sagada, Mountain Province, Philippines was established in 1902/1903 by the American missionary Rev. John Armitage Staunton. St. Theodore of Tarsus Hospital was established at the Mission in 1903. The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin was completed in 1904. The mission's school, Saint Mary's School of Sagada, was established in 1911. The adjoining cemetery is on the grounds of the Mission Compound, and is under the administration of the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Sagada (Episcopal Church of the Philippines).
