We drove southwest about 10 miles to a road sign: ERVEY CROSSROAD and to the left was 1 mi. to ERVEY. We passed a church, a lake and a mile and found Ervey isn’t anymore. We drove back to the beautiful little Lake Ervey, where our grandparents could have swam and fished so long ago. The little church was a Presbyterian Church, built in 1807.
