Description : The Ezion Methodist Episcopal Cemetery is one of the oldest black cemeteries on Kent Island. The cemetery, located in the small crossroads community of Normans, probably dates to the 1870s. The congregation of the church was very small by the late 20th century, mainly field hands and watermen in the area, and the church itself is defunct. The cemetery is not well kept up, and is overgrown. Many graves are unmarked, or were marked with markers that have since deteriorated.
