Originally established as Fairmount Cemetery on May 29, 1888, it served as the Spokane community's "Official City and County Burial Ground". This cemetery park is made up of 160 acres with just over 80 developed. It is located west of the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital on W. Wellesley Avenue.
