Description	:	The Ferand/Siever cemetery is incorrectly labeled as "George Lane cemetery" on a Topoquest internet site. George Lane never owned this piece of ground! Furthermore, George Lane is not buried here either, it is my guess that the submitter was mixed up with another cemetery that is actually on the old George Lane place, so the error is beyond argument! The Ferand/Siever cemetery is on the borderlines of land first patented by Henry Ferand Oct. 22, 1860 and by James I. Siever on Jan. 31, 1861. This cemetery is located on private property, location as follows; N37 Degrees 48.014 W91'51.044 The identity of the two graves are not documented, I merely decided to name the cemetery after the first land patentees, some of who may actually be interred here.
