Description	:	Church organized in 1811 as Sansom Street Baptist and reorganized in 1824 as Fifth Baptist Church. Burial ground was purchased in 1825. Remains moved to Laurel Hill Cemetery in 1854 and the grounds were sold. Public Ledger 19 April 1852 pg 2 "For sometime past, the bodies formerly interred in the burial grounds of the Sansom Street Baptist Church , George Street below Twelfth, have been in progress of removal to a vault at Laurel Hill Cemetery, prepared for their reception by the congregation.
