Description	:	John Foster founded "Pine Tree Farm" on Hall Avenue in 1823 (later known as "Baldwin Farm"), according to Renoda Hoffman, former City Historian. According to his descendants, as part of his will, John Foster acquired a promise from his son William Ashley that a family burial ground would be established on his farmland.
