Description : ‘Kentucky State Institute for the Education of Feebleminded Children and Idiots' was established by the legislature in 1860, and was more commonly known as the 'Kentucky Institute for Feeble-minded Children'. The name was changed to the 'Kentucky Training Home' in 1945; and in 1963 it became the 'Frankfort State Hospital & School'. The cemetery is in Frankfort on Glen's Creek Road near where it intersects with Cold Harbor Road and is across the street from Frankfort Cemetery.
