Some state records refer to it as Cedar Hill Cemetery (Marion Twp., Franklin Co., OH, not to be confused with Cedar Hill in Newark, Licking Co., OH). Defunct. The Franklin County Infirmary cemetery was located on the 265-acre site of Columbus, Ohio's last poorhouse at 1755 Alum Creek Drive in Marion Township. The three-story, 150-room brick residence opened in 1883, and the county added a 125-bed hospital in 1928.
