Description	:	Mr. John McKee, Friars Point, Mississippi, on whose place the cemetery is located, gave plots of ground to the African-Americans (negroes) for a burying place that lived on his plantation. There was not a caretaker, superintendent or sexton. Each family secured the people to dig the graves and they provided any form, type, shape or size stone they wanted or needed that they had no one to account to except that it be one of a family that had lived on John McKee's plantation a long time and had been one of his tenants. The Cemetery is on the Mckee land till this day but when contacting the family certain parts of the cemetery were extremely overgrown and hard to reach.
