This meeeting was set off from Fairfield Monthly Meeting on May 11, 1811, but the Friends in this vicinity had organized and built a church by the site of this cemetery on the Spargur Mill Road in 1807 - 1808. The church was of hewed logs and consisted of two rooms, each forty foot square.
