It's located within the Wo Hop Shek Public Cemetery at Wo Hop Shek, Fanling, New Territories, and was designated as a place for the interment of civil servants who died while on duty. In 2000, this honor was extended to non-civil servants who died with exceptional bravery while on duty, and later to medical personnel who died of SARS.
