Description | : | The Ludvika Chapel Parish in central Sweden, on the southern end of the Dales or Dalecarlia (Dalarna) province, acquired the right to bury in 1782, making it possible for the first graveyard here to be inaugurated two years later. It was arranged around the church on property that had been acquired from the local Crown Ironworks (kronobruket). Already in 1752, Baron Carl Gustaf Cedercreutz (1707-1775), who was in charge of the royal ironworks there, had donated a lot from his manor for the building of a church.
