Description	:	The present church was built in 1821 replacing an older building described in 1793 as being "very old". The graveyard is set in a lovely rural setting next to the River Isla. The church itself is a small oblong Gothic stone building with a bright blue door, a belfry and a session house. The graveyard is older than the present church. Glenisla Churchyard is best accessed from Kirriemuir to the east. Leave Kirriemuir traveling westward by the B951 via Kinnordy and Kingoldrum. This road continues into Glenisla and passes the Church.
