Description	:	In the mid-1930s, when it was decided that the original site of Hamburg Baptist Church would be flooded in 1941 for the construction of Glenville Dam, the church moved to its current location. Following a careful diagram, the entire cemetery was also moved to the hillside across the highway from the present day church building. The relocated gravestones are referred to as "removal stones".
