Description : Hilltop cemetery also known as Epidemic cemetery, is located SW of Hubbard, high on a hill overlooking highway 35. It is on private property and permission is needed to hike up there. This cemetery was started because of the diptheria epidemic in the late 1800's and there are supposed to be somewhere around 100 burials here, mostly children. Today there are only a handful of stones hidden mostly in the lilac bush at the top of the hill.
