Description	:	The Island Cemetery, also known as the Okelberry Cemetery, was established in about 1882. There is a current grave with the date of 2015 in this cemetery, but the majority of the graves are much older. The cemetery is surrounded by farm ground and has a beautiful view of the South hills. It is in fair condition, but does not appear to be maintained regularly. It sits on the edge of a farmer's field and is not fenced. Permission should be obtained from the current land owner to visit this cemetery. To reach the cemetery take Highway 27 South from Burley to Oakley. Turn West, by the green house, onto 1450 S which becomes a gravel road. Travel about a mile then turn South just before the log house on the North. Travel about .03 of a mile. The cemetery will be on the East side of the road in a farmer's field.
