Description : REED'S STATION -- Jacob's United Church of Christ, familiarly known as "The Brick Church. Jacob Reed, a pioneer settler who lived near the present site of the church, was the virtual founder for whom the church is named. He was the most substantial contributor. The congregation, from its inception as a union of German Lutheran and Reformed members, was organized prior to 1800.
