Description | : | Mass grave site. The camp was established in Jarek, a Danube Swabian (Donauschwaben) village 15 km outside of Novi Sad, and operated between December 1944 and April 1946. Over 17,000 ethic Germans were held in the camps by the Soviets, and approximately 6,500 died. |
