Description	:	This cemetery is overgrown with trees and brush. Headstones are broken, some fallen over. It is located on Gray Road (SR 1136) and is about 4 miles south of Hwy 33 on right hand side of Gray Road. It is in the woods a short distance behind a tobacco barn, but close to the edge of a field. In 1940, there was a cemetery survey done by the Historical Records Survey of North Carolina. There were only two graves when that survey was done: Jethro Nobles and Lovie Nobles. In 1940, there was a cemetery survey done by the Historical Records Survey of North Carolina. There were only two graves when that survey was done: Jethro Nobles and Lovie Nobles. Condition was noted as good. There was another survey done in 1979 by Leslie F. House. This survey is at the Brown Library in Washington, NC. This survey listed 5 graves. The condition was noted as overgrown and in bad repair. The condition of the cemetery has only worsened in the almost 40 intervening years.
