Description	:	The cemetery is located on the southern bank of the Nemen River, across the river from the city of GRODNO proper and just west of the "New Bridge." It is possible that most of the people buried in the cemetery lived in the Zaniemanski Forshtat area, across the river from Grodno. The other two Grodno cemeteries were destroyed and no official information remains from these cemeteries. There are reportedly 1829 graves surviving in this cemetery and about half have surnames. Burials were 1784 to 1968. Many were transcribed and posted online by researchers in 2000.
