The grave plates themselves are lost; of the grave of the pastor Leander Scheiffers of 1688, but there is a photo. "The dead of the parish have been buried in the churchyard located immediately adjacent to the church. This period is memorialized by a cast iron grave plate (later attached to the church wall), since the Black Death covered the children of the grave of the Mayor Husemann family in 1618. In addition, there presently are three elaborately crafted grave stones of Gutspächters Conrad Busse (1813), Father Gregory Köchling (1826), and the wife of the farmer of the goods Castle Thienhausen Louise Reese (1815). The cemetery at the church was abandoned in 1833 [year also seen as 1831] for reasons of space and in 1965 the site was converted into a small park."
