Description	:	This is the cemetery where many persons who lived at the "Kolchoz Uzbeki Internacional," or "Uzbek International Commune," were buried. The Commune, across the Ermeközen River and just southeast of the cemetery, and now in a state of severe dilapidation, was constructed by the Stalinist dictatorship primarily as a facility where Lithuanians, Poles, Ukrainians, and other persons whom Stalin feared would be tempted to assist the Nazis in their invasion of the Soviet Union, were forced to live as farmers, laborers, teachers, etc., far away from their homelands.
