Description : Per the Sherman County, Nebraska "Tombstone Inscription" by the Loup Valley D.A.R., 1954-1956, "This burial plat has never been deeded as such, although a check of the abstract of the present owner shows one acre (location not specified) to have been withheld for cemetery use in the deed given by the first owner. Neighbor John Minshull says stones here are children of Henry Lewis, who is buried at Litchfield. Mrs. H.E. Plantz remembers there having been many graves there. Only one stone remains."
