Description	:	also variously known as: Falkner/ Faulkner Family," "Old Dr. Gill," and "Meggie Falkner" cemetery. This cemetery was called the "Liles Edwards Cemetery" in the 1940 WPA Historical Records Survey, however death certificates of those subsequently buried here have listed it as the "Falkner Family," "Old Dr. Gill" and "Meggie Falkner" cemetery. In 1940, the WPA surveyor described it in "good condition," located "on the old Martha Edwards place, one mile north of the June Hoyle place." Maria Parham Faulkner updated the survey in the 1990s and early 2000s and reported it in "an abandoned area in a forest of 60 year old pines.... In 1940, the WPA surveyor described it in "good condition," located "on the old Martha Edwards place, one mile north of the June Hoyle place." Maria Parham Faulkner updated the survey in the 1990s and early 2000s and reported it in "an abandoned area in a forest of 60 year old pines. All the stones were toppled or covered with leaves and pine straw." She also noted, "The present owner of the deed to the cemetery states that there was a large family of Indian descent called 'McGee's' who lived on the Edwards farm. It was remembered that the family often came to ask for a space to bury their family. No stones. There are some stones without any inscriptions." In 2011, Preston Wright found the cemetery in very poor condition with numerous sunken graves for which markers were missing. The following graves were recorded by the W.P.A. survey: • Dent, A. T, b. May 29, 1786 - d. 1861; Age 81 yrs. • Edwards, Martha. b. Mar. 21, 1795 - d. 1867, Age 72 yrs. • Edwards, Martha V., b. Aug 18, 1824 - d. 1908, Age 84 yrs. • Edwards, Mary A.A.. b.
