There is no known recorded information about the cemetery; indeed, in modern times it's actual physical location was virtually unknown. In 1791 300 acres of land, including the present day location of Parslow Road, was purchased from Wm. Cooper by Israel Loomis of Lebanon, CT. Loomis settled his family here soon after and all of his 9 his children were born on the farm. His wife Catherine died there in 1838 and he seven years later.
