Description	:	The Main Street Cemetery is a small part of a contiguous cemetery complex that includes the Franklin Cemetery, the Lutheran Cemetery and Perpetual Park Cemetery. The cemetery has been known by a few different names throughout history including the colored cemetery, the old colored cemetery and the negro cemetery. The cemetery has been known by a few different names throughout history including the colored cemetery, the old colored cemetery and the negro cemetery. It is bounded by Sterling Road to the north, Main Street to the west, Violet Street* to the east and the remnants of an old barrier to the south. *Violet street is a small road that runs perpendicular to Sterling Road and Azalea Street. There are a few small streets with the names of flowers that run inside the cemetery complex. As of 2/8/2018 violet street not listed on google maps. However if you use satellite view, you should be able to see it.
