Description : This is the original Maury Family Cemetery at Piedmont. After many years of neglect, in around 1988 the headstones were moved to Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery in Cismont, VA so that they wouldn't be lost to overgrowth and development, as the property was no longer owned by the Maury family. The burials likely still exist in this cemetery. In November, 2021, a volunteer cleanup effort began and is ongoing so that this nearly-forgotten cemetery is not lost to nature or future development.
