| Description | : | McCornick is a ghost town located in Millard County, Utah. The town was in Whiskey Creek Flat about 11 miles northwest of Holden and about 18 miles east southeast of Delta. It was a settlement and a siding on the Union Pacific Railroad. The settlement was established in 1919 through a high-pressure advertising and selling scheme, but died by 1930 because of alternating floods and drought. The promised water never materialized.
