Description : Memorial Mound first opened in 1992, and was owned and operated by Clyde Booth. Built on 16 ½ acres, it was marketed as “The Most Beautiful Burial Facility in the U.S.A.” in brochures. An alternative to ground burial, caskets were stacked on metal racks behind a wall. Memorial plaques and floral offerings were placed on the opposite side of the wall where family could visit their loved ones.
