It was a very large piece of property that stretched from the river to 'down the road.' The property was then used to raise cattle and the few stones were picked up and stacked neatly by a tree. Where the cemetery is actually, is a mystery now. Per Marie Nations, It is likely the original cemetery was on property owned by Norman C. Morrison, father of Alexander T. Morrison. When Norman Morrison died in 1882, his property listed in his estate included property directly south of where the stones were located.
