Description	:	Located on Aguas Frias Road, approximately 2 miles south of the Butte Creek bridge at Township 1 North, Range 1 East; Section 16 -- southbound toward Butte City. "Mound" Cemetery, is situated approximately 1/4 mile west of Aguas Frias Road in a rice field owned and farmed by Point Four Inc. Mound cemetery is approximately 30 feet square; about 15 high above the surface of the leveled rice field. Purchased in 1963 from Layton & Baldwin Co., it was leveled in 1965. The Quants decided to allow adequate space around the perimeter of the graves to keep them undisturbed. It was sold to Point Four Inc. in 1977.
