Description	:	Mount Hebron Cemetery is the only known African American Cemetery in Pike County, Indiana. The cemetery is located in the area known as Logtown between Ayrshire and the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks. In 1997 the name New Life was added to the cemetery but it is still known as Mount Hebron. Unfortunately the historic church had to be torn down because of disrepair and vandalism. The Eaton Monument Company from Washington, Indiana donated the Cemetery name stone through the Curtis Funeral Home in Winslow, Indiana.
