Description	:	David N. McBride and Jane N. McBride, Cemetery Inscriptions of Highland County, Ohio, [2nd edition, 1972}, p. 469, says, "This cemetery is well off the main highway in a grove of trees. C. NANCE [all caps in the original] owned this farm before 1871. Residents of the vicinity say that members of a NANCE family are buried here, but no one could be found who remembered their names.
