Description : The New Jerusalem Church Burial Grounds was on the side of the Church.Thomas Rorer, who ran a stage coach line, purchased in November of 1836 the property owned by the Free-Will Baptist Church at the corner of Hedge and Plum Street and conveyed it to Rev. James Seddon. Rev. Seddon was the pastor of the newly formed (1825) Church of New Jerusalem which had about 50 members. The stone building was erected in 1835 and enlarged in 1852.
