It also contains the remains of those who died in the Piaski Ghetto, where over 20 people died daily. Living conditions were horrible and the ghetto was fenced and the people were locked in, unable to leave. The cemetery has been closed to new burials, since the end of the war. Unfortunately, the cemetery is neglected and left in disrepair.
