Description	:	In 1903, funeral services were held at Nordstrøm Cemetery (Nordstrøm kirkegård) twice a year: the first time in June, and again in October. Generally, the priest offered a funeral service for all that had died since the summer on one of the Sundays when he held confirmations in Skorpa. Sometimes he also offered a funeral service on a Saturday. When the Spanish flu ravaged the area, many coffins were stacked up in the morgue.
