Description	:	Old location of the "Catholic Cemetery" from which many interments were made from St. Rose Catholic and St. John Catholic Churches prior to 1897. When this land was sold, tombstones and most remains were moved to Gethsemani Cemetery on Spencerville road in the south part of the city. It is assumed that it was not possible to move all remains, given the nature of burial materials in that era such as wooden coffins and lack of vaults, which are more commonplace now.
