Suunybrook Farm was named for the stream which flows near where the old homestead once stood. You can reach the old Sunnybrook Farm from Spruce Pine, North Carolina by going north on Highwy 19E for about 5 miles. On the Sunnybrook Farm William maintained a good orchard.
