Description	:	Old White Church Cemetery is the oldest burying ground in the town of Lincolnton. The cemetery was established alongside a log church that was later covered with weatherboards and painted white, thus the church became known as the “Old White Church” and the cemetery, the “Old White Church Cemetery”. Even though the Old White Church is no longer there, the historic cemetery continues as “Old White Church Cemetery” and was granted certification on the National Register of Historic Places, U. S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service in 1994.	Old White Church Cemetery is the oldest burying ground in the town of Lincolnton.
