Description : On January 18, 1871, George Plank and his wife deeded a plot of land 8 rods square to the Orange Township Board for a public burial site. The cemetery which was never filed with the Register of Deeds is located in the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 31, Orange Township. There are no markers and all burials here are believed to have taken place prior to 1880. There are three children known to be buried on this site which is on PRIVATE LAND.
