Description	:	On March 5, 1847, Andrew and William Quarry deeded two acres of land for a cemetery, on the Marden road, County road 62. This was often referred to as the "Quarry Cemetery" (also spelled "Quarrie"). In 1956, the tombstones were removed and either returned to their owners' families, if these could be found, or otherwise disposed of. The cemetery fell into disuse as people moved away and the last burial there was in 1874. It is inscribed with the names of the interred on three sides.
