Description : This Pate Cemetery is NOT the one with a brick wall perimeter which can be found on Dunc Pate Road. This Pate Cemetery is the older of the two and is located .43 miles Southeast of the other on Fletcher Road and is quite overgrown. There are numerous markers not readily visible, and several are back in the woods where sunken, unmarked graves can also be found. The burial ground has also been referred to as Pate-Wright Cemetery.
