Description	:	Located in the SW Quarter of the SW Quarter of the NW Quarter of Section 6, Township 3, Range 2E. In her book "The Cemeteries of Madison County" volume 2, published in the 1970's, Dorothy Scott Johnson noted: "This cemetery now lies in the pasture of a dairy farm. The cattle have not destroyed the stones but have kept the area cleared of overgrowth. For its age the burial ground and stones are extremely well preserved." Now, as of 2015, this cemetery is overgrown, one obelisk and headstone have toppled, and at least three headstones, a footstone, and many uncarved field stones have been moved and piled up a few feet away from the two graves surrounded by a rock wall. The new owner, who acquired the property around 2012, did not know the original locations of the stones, nor why they had been moved.
