Description	:	Samuel Peters purchased Hinesburgh lot 83 in 1798 and it is presumed that there is a graveyard located on this property at the foot of Lincoln Hill. It's existence, however, remains unproven as no markers exist. A researcher of the families living on Lincoln Hill wrote of this possibility, "Perhaps, as some have suggested, Hannah [Mrs. Prince Peters] and her children lie in the 'old Negro burying ground' at the top of the Hill on Clark land. But that was miles away up a steep hill; more likely, the Peterses had a family plot on their own...
