Description	:	Piney Grove Church Cemetery originally a slave cemetery continued use well into the 20th century. Piney Grove Church organized in 1906, was the predecessor to Mars Hill's Mount Olive Baptist Church, established in 1917. The church is no longer standing. The cemetery located on Walker Branch is on a hill between Old Mill Road and Spice Wood Trail. Only one grave has a grave stone, all other graves are marked with field stone.
