Description : The Pinkerton Cemetery was located on a 400 acre land grant in Turkeyfoot Township, Somerset Co. PA obtained by Matthew Pinkerton on 29 Jun 1799. The cemetery was destroyed before the WPA census in the 1930s, but can be partially reconstructed here by several old stones found on the Milt Ohler farm nearby and by genealogy records.
