Description : Platte Valley Cemetery/Aka Birdwood Cemetery founded in 1921, 6 miles from Hershey Nebraska, east on Highway 30. Sec 29,Twp 14, Rng 31, Hinman Precinct. Located in corner section on northside of highway. On May 17, 1976, the only remains in marked graves were removed to the Riverside Cemetery. The cemetery was returned to the surrounding property owner.
