Description : Located at 4600 N Belt Line Road in Sunnyvale, TX, Pleasant Ridge Cemetery began in 1878 with the burial of the infant daughter of T. B. Tinsley, who was also the granddaughter of Bob Johnson. A second burial of Miss Keen (or Keane), daughter of Rev. Nelse Keen, followed within a few months. Soon after these two burials, Bob Johnson donated the land to serve as a cemetery. The Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Association was formed, then formalized around 1913 with dues of one dollar a year being collected from members to keep up the grounds and a caretaker's residence. This...
